🕒 How long do repairs usually take?
Most repairs are completed the same day they’re marked as “In Repair”! 🛠️
Turnaround depends on part availability & complexity. If we need to order parts or something unexpected comes up, we’ll let you know right away.
💰 How much will it cost?
Once we inspect your item, you’ll get a quote before any work begins.
Sometimes we need to open your device and run diagnostics. A diagnostic fee ($5–$20) may apply, but if you approve the repair, it’s waived!
📱 How do I check the status of my repair?
Just enter your ticket ID in the tracker above. You’ll see real-time updates — no phone calls or emails required!
📦 Can I ship something in for repair?
Absolutely! After submitting a request, we’ll send you shipping instructions. Or drop it off in-store if you’re local — whichever is easier.
🎮 What kinds of things do you repair?
We specialize in retro/specialty electronics — Game Boys, NES controllers, arcade boards, handhelds, and more. If it’s classic, quirky, or collectible, we probably fix it.
🧾 What if I don’t want to go ahead with the repair?
No problem! You can decline the quote. We’ll return the item or recycle it — your choice. (A small evaluation fee may apply for complex diagnostics.)
✅ Do repairs come with a warranty?
Yes! Every repair comes with 3 months of no-worry coverage for defects in workmanship or parts we replaced.
(This doesn’t cover accidental/user damage or normal wear and tear.)
🔋 Can you replace the battery in my Pokémon game without losing my save?
Yes! We’ll back up your save, replace the battery, and restore your data — so you can pick up right where you left off.
📍 Where are you located, and can I walk in?
Yes! We’re in Forest Lake, MN and welcome walk-ins. Start your repair online or visit during store hours.
🔌 Do you use original or aftermarket parts?
We use original OEM parts when available. If only aftermarket is possible, we’ll let you know and ensure quality stays top-tier.
🎨 Can I request custom mods or upgrades?
Definitely! Backlit screens, new shells, custom buttons, or unique mods — just mention it during check-in and we’ll quote it with the repair.
💾 Will I lose my saved data or files?
We do everything we can to preserve your data. If there’s any risk, we’ll let you know first and discuss backup options.
🚫 What if my device is too far gone?
If a repair isn’t possible or worth it, we’ll tell you upfront. You can have it returned, salvaged, or recycled — your call.
