📜 Terms of Use & Store Policies

By shopping with us — either online or in-store — you agree to the following Terms of Use. These policies are designed to protect both the buyer and our small business, and to ensure transparency in every transaction.

🧾 SECTION 1: GENERAL PURCHASE TERMS

• All sales are considered final unless otherwise stated.
• It is the customer’s responsibility to review item descriptions, photos, and condition notes before completing a purchase.
• We reserve the right to cancel any order or refuse service in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of our store policies.

🔁 SECTION 2: RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

Return Eligibility:

• Return requests must be initiated within 14 calendar days of either the original in-store purchase date or the delivery date for online orders.
• New items must be unopened, unused, and in original packaging.
• Pre-owned items must be returned in the same condition as sold.
• Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required for all returns.

Non-Returnable Items:

• Opened or used items (unless verified as defective).
• Boxed collectibles and vintage toys (all sold as-is).
• Custom, handmade, or limited edition items.
• Digital goods, including codes or downloads.
• Items damaged due to misuse or improper handling.

Defective Items:

• Must be reported within 3 business days of receipt (online) or purchase (in-store).
• Verified defective items may be exchanged for the same item or issued store credit.
• Consoles and accessories must be returned within 14 days if found defective.

Restocking Fee:

• Returns of non-defective items are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
• This fee may be waived for verified defects or store error.

🏷️ SECTION 3: STORE CREDIT & USER ACCOUNT POLICY

Online Orders:

• An online account is automatically created at checkout.
• Approved returns will be credited to this account.
• Store credit never expires and can be used in-store or online.

In-Store Purchases:

• User accounts are not required for purchases, but are required for returns.
• If a customer refuses to create an account, a one-time-use coupon may be issued at management’s discretion.
• This coupon cannot be replaced if lost or unused.

🎮 SECTION 4: CATEGORY-SPECIFIC POLICIES

Games, Electronics & Accessories:

• Defective Games: Must be reported within 3 business days. Eligible for exchange or store credit.
• Non-Defective Games: Returnable within 5 business days if unused and resealed. Subject to a 15% restocking fee.
• Consoles/Accessories: Returnable if defective within 14 days. Items damaged by misuse are not eligible.

Vintage Toys & Collectibles:

• All sales are final.
• Sold as-is with no warranty or return eligibility.
• Buyers should inspect or review all item details before purchase.

Custom, Handmade, Limited Edition:

• Not eligible for return or refund.
• Buyback may be offered at store discretion.

Digital Goods:

• All digital sales are final, including downloadable content, codes, or files.

Note: Returns without prior contact may be denied. Allow up to 7 business days for return processing.

⚖️ SECTION 6: DISPUTES & CHARGEBACKS

• Disputes will be resolved via binding arbitration in Minnesota.
• We retain detailed records to protect against fraudulent claims and chargebacks.
• Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account bans or legal action.

📦 SECTION 7: SHIPPING & DELIVERY (Online Orders)

• Shipping weights and dimensions are estimates and may vary.
• We are not liable for delays or damage caused by third-party carriers.
• Shipping insurance is available upon request at checkout.
